Araceli Larios
Project Associate
Araceli Larios' duties as a project associate at DSO include outreach, coordinating and facilitating meetings, logistics and neighborhood canvassing.
Ms. Larios' DSO projects have included:
- Clean Truck Program, ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles
- Los Angeles Dodgers Legacy Project
- Pasadena Unified School District, Excellent Middle School Project
- San Gabriel River Discovery Project
- Solid Waste Integrated Resource Plan (SWIRP), Bureau of Sanitation, City of Los Angeles
Prior to joining the DSO team, Ms. Larios worked with the South Bay Latino Chamber of Commerce, where she was a project coordinator. Her tasks included organizing community events and facilitating community forums as well as educating local business owners about how to improve their businesses.
Ms. Larios also worked for Enterprise Rent-A-Car, where as a branch supervisor she managed a local branch and oversaw the accounts. While at Enterprise, she earned several customer service awards, including one for outstanding customer service for a 96 percent customer service survey score, which broke a company record.
Ms. Larios is originally from Soledad, California. She earned her bachelors degree in journalism from California State University, Long Beach. She is bilingual in English and Spanish. She has been with DSO since 2008.
